A scale meet will be held on the Saturday 20th March starting from 2:00pm

A visit will be organised to Malta Air Traffic Services Ltd. which is responsible for providing Air Traffic Navigational services with the Malta FIR.

The visit will consist of a tour around the various facilities at the ATC Centre at Malta International Airport and will cover the Area and Aproach sections as well as the Visual Control Room (i.e. the Tower). Members who would liek to attend must provide their name and ID Card number to Franz by not later than Monday 19th April.

An open - "Jet Meet" will be held at the Ta' Qali airfield on Saturday 15th May from 3:00pm onwards. Members are urged to come along and bring whatever jet models they would like and just enjoy flying together.

An open - "Helicopter" will be held at the Ta' Qali airfield on Saturday 30th May from 3:00pm onwards. Members are urged to come along and bring whatever helicopter models they would like. Let's see your scale helicopter or just you handy fuel or electric helicopter all together at Ta' Qali for this very interesting event.

The Malta Model Aircraft Flying Association will be holding the Sixteenth Edition of its annual open weekend.

The show is open to the general public, and the main aim of this non-competitive event is to increase public awareness about the pleasure of our sport and hobby of constructing, and most of all flying model aircraft.

 This event is purely based on showmanship.  Participants can do whatever they wish with their models (fixed or rotary wings) with the sole purpose of impressing the judges
